On Wednesday 22nd May we headed to the historic Chapelfields district in Coventry for a virtual walking tour and panel discussion. A number of audience members joined us in person at St Mary Magdalene Community Hall whilst many more tuned in online. To start, local historian Adam Wood visited a number of locations associated with the watchmakers who lived, worked and died in Chapelfields.

For more information on Adam’s in-person and virtual tours, you can check out his website here. Adam was only able to cover a small amount of his usual tour at this event, so check out his upcoming tours of Chapelfields here.

After the walking tour, we were joined by Josh Allen and Dr Jenny Baker for a panel discussion about the medium of walking tours, the representation of child death and crimes, and a few other local history stories.
