As we head into the Festive season, take a little time for yourself to explore how mindfulness can help us to appreciate our food and drink on a deeper level.
Join Dr Dean Howes of Warwick's Centre for Lifelong Learning for a mixture of relevant mindfulness practices and discussion. In this session participants will be required to bring some food to eat as part of the practices experienced.
Any type of food can be used but something with a variety of textures, tastes, colours and ingredients works best. A short mindful relaxation and meditation will also feature in the session.
For health and wellbeing, the art of mindful eating is a way to improve our relationship with food and eating.
