Join us for an evening of research, poetry and discussion around developing an inclusive health and care research system with people from Black African Diaspora Communities.

Research undertaken by PhD student Eleanor Hoverd, a nurse by background, will share the findings of the research she co-produced with a group of people from Black African Diaspora Communities from around the health and care research system.

There will be poetry by national canal laureate playwright and poet, Roy McFarlane (pictured) as well as discussion from members of the co-production group about their experience of being part of this research.

Nibbles and refreshments from 7pm, the main event will begin at 7.30pm.

This event is for 18+.

Please note, this event will include discussion around racism, racial discrimination and marginalisation. Care will be taken to ensure these are discussed sensitively - these topics could come up throughout.
