Resonate Roadshow at the Royal Priors Shopping Centre

On Saturday 30 November we headed to the Royal Priors shopping centre in Leamington Spa to showcase undergraduate student research and public engagement skills.

Over the summer holidays, undergraduate students from the University of Warwick are given the opportunity to complete an independent research project, like a mini-dissertation. As part of this scheme, students are encouraged to share their findings with the public. Some did this through social media or blogs, whilst others joined us with interactive activities, posters, demonstrations and more!

The other activity at the event was from students doing a module in Public and Community Engagement. Guided by the team from the Warwick Institute of Engagement, these students took Warwick research and made it fun, interactive and suitable for a variety of ages! They had attendees doing monkey sign language, making slime to illustrate historical medicine and placing boxes on their head to simulate the ideal sleep environment!

Thank you to everyone who wandered in to see what our students have been up to!
