Catch the Bus
Local buses offer a frequent and convenient way of travelling to and from campus. There are regular bus services to the University campus from Coventry city centre and Coventry rail station, with the journey taking about 30 minutes. The 11, 11U and 12X head to and from Coventry and the U1, U2, U12 and 11 head towards Kenilworth and Leamington. Find details of routes here.
West Midlands Bus On Demand
You can also call the West Midlands Bus on Demand Service. West Midlands On-demand is a new type of bus service. It does not follow a specific route. Instead, you book a journey and a bus will pick you up at a time you choose. Read how here.
Apply for Free Bus Tickets
We have a limited number of free National Express Day Saver tickets. These will be offered out on a fist come, first served basis. If you would like to apply for free tickets, just email resonate@warwick.ac.uk and let us know which event(s) you are planning to attend.
Car Parking
The University of Warwick campus operates a cashless payment system, with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) parking systems in all of the main campus car parks. There are lots of ways for you to pay for your parking when you visit us.
Book your parking in advance
To save you needing to pay for parking on the day of your visit, you can pre-book your parking in advance. Simply select which parking option you need from the weekday, weekend or evening options.
Then select the date you will park and for how long you will need the parking for. After you’ve filled in your personal details and your registration number, the charge will then be calculated and you can pay online in advance of your visit to us. To book your parking please visit https://citycentre.apcoa.co.uk/carpark/location/warwick-university-car-parks/3992 .
Parking can be pre-booked up to 12 months in advance.
For further information on our parking tariffs and where you can park, please visit https://warwick.ac.uk/services/carparks/prebook/.
Pay using our cashless machine
We have a payment machine within the Arts Centre which you can use to pay for parking by contactless or chip and pin payment. Simply visit the machine, enter your vehicle registration and choose the tariff for your duration of stay.
Pay using the APCOA Connect app
You can also pay for your parking via an app called Apcoa Connect. We recommend downloading the app in advance of your visit. After downloading the app, you need to register for an account.
Once you’ve got an account on the app and you’ve parked at the University of Warwick, simply select the location code 2503 and choose the tariff for your duration of stay.
You can download the APCOA Connect app on Google Play and Apple IOS.
Optional Auto Pay Setting
After you’ve registered for an APCOA connect account, you can also choose to apply Auto Pay. This means you will not need to enter the location code each time you visit us.
The APCOA connect system will pick up your vehicle registration number, and charge you based on how long you’ve stayed for.
If you’re a frequent visitor to us, we recommend you setting up the Auto Pay option. This is so you don’t have to remember or plan to pay for your parking each time you visit us, your parking will be automatically charged based on how long you stay.
Please note that this is an optional setting. You can still use the app to pay for parking without setting up auto pay.
However, if you would like to automate your parking payments, simply select the Auto Pay option at the top of the APCOA Connect webpage.
Pay via APCOA’s website (Including Late Pay)
You can pay for your parking using the APCOA connect website itself, instead of its app. You can pay either on arrival or up to 24 hours after the start of your parking session, (this is known as Late Pay).
You can decide on whether you wish to create an account for a quicker check out on your next visit, or to continue your parking payment without registering for an account.
Pay using a phone
Call 01895 262 122 and follow the instructions provided to pay for your parking session with our location code 2503.
Call costs are dependent upon your Network Provider, so please refer to your Network Provider’s pricing policy.
Please note, if you choose to opt in for a reminder or a confirmation SMS then APCOA Connect will charge you at a rate of 10 pence per SMS sent to you, in addition to your Network Provider fees. For further information please visit APCOA connect's FAQs.
Blue Badge Parking
If you have a blue badge, you still need to register your vehicle with APCOA Connect for your free parking on campus. Please visit APCOA’s website and select the “Blue Badge Holders” option to create an account and register your vehicle before your arrival. You can also use our step-by-step guide to assist you with the process.
Here, you will need to create an account and upload details of your blue badge. Make sure you use the location code 2503.
Your application will then be reviewed within 48 hours. Once approved, you can park on campus free of charge.
Only valid registered blue badge holders may park in a blue badge space.
