Responsible AI

  • 1 Mill Street 1 Mill Street Leamington Spa, England, CV31 1ES United Kingdom (map)

This event is organised by the the Social Science Impact Team and is shared with you by Resonate.

Dr Shweta Singh, Assistant Professor at Warwick Business School and UN delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women, will be delivering a talk on the complexities of responsible artificial intelligence.

What is AI? How can it be used responsibly? Should we be concerned about online safety?

The use of AI has become increasingly commonplace with social media platforms, content generation and manipulated media. The need to understand how this technology works, and the safety concerns it raises, is crucial.

Dr Singh’s talk will delve into what ‘responsible AI’ could look like, and why this issue needs to be addressed to safeguard against potentially harmful content.

This event is only for those aged 18+.

This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science and is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council.
