Festive Fun and Christmas Curiosity…

The Department of Physics and Warwick Arts Centre’s award-winning Warwick Christmas Lectures are back, bigger and more fun than before!

We’ll be joined by some of our favourite scientists from the University of Warwick, including Ally Caldecote and Alex Baker, who are leaving their labs to entertain and amaze audiences. 

Expect mind-boggling science, explosive experiments and audience participation! So, pull on your festive jumper, bring your family members or friends and join us for an evening that audiences described last year as awesome, messy and fun!

FREE Live Labs

We’ll also have FREE Live Labs in our foyer spaces from 5.30pm, so you can get up close and hands on with real-life science before the Christmas Lectures begin. You might encounter a Superconducting Levitating Train, Fuzzy Bacteria or Solar Racing Cars! Come along from 5.30pm to get yourself in the mood for Science before the lectures even begin!
